About Us

Built to protect what you have built.

PromptTech Insurance is the InsurTech and RiskTech division of PromptTech Global — combining commercial insurance expertise with technology that keeps cover current.

Why We Exist

The gap nobody sees until the claim.

Most businesses buy insurance once and review it rarely. The business grows — new premises, more staff, larger contracts, new equipment — while the policy stays exactly as it was.

That gap is invisible until a claim is made. By then it is too late to close.

PromptTech Insurance was built to close it — combining the judgement of experienced brokers with technology that makes a business’s insurance position visible and current, rather than filed and forgotten.

Resilience is rarely built in a crisis. It is built in the ordinary moments before one.

How We Work

Four principles we hold to.

Independent

We are not tied to any insurer. Recommendations reflect your risk, not a placement target.

Transparent

Exclusions and sub-limits explained before you buy, not discovered at claim.

Continuous

The relationship continues after placement. Cover reviewed as the business changes.

Accountable

When a claim happens, we act for you — not as a messenger for the insurer.

Common Questions

About PromptTech Insurance

Is PromptTech Insurance licensed in India?

Our IRDAI broker licence application is in progress. We are not currently transacting insurance business in India and will begin operations once the licence is confirmed.

What does an insurance broker actually do?

A broker acts for you, not the insurer. We assess your risk, approach multiple insurers on your behalf, compare what they offer and support you if you need to claim.

How is a broker different from an agent?

An agent represents a single insurer. A broker represents you and can approach the whole market. IRDAI licenses the two differently with distinct obligations.

Do you charge a fee?

Brokerage is paid by the insurer as a percentage of premium, within IRDAI limits. Our consultation and risk assessment carry no separate charge.

Which insurers will you work with?

We intend to work across the major Indian general and life insurers. The confirmed panel will be published once our licence is approved.

Can you help with an existing policy?

Yes. We can review cover placed elsewhere and assist with claims, including on policies not bought through us.
